Strong foundations for software that grows

Custom software products, and online presence for small businesses. Built on years of hands-on engineering to stay simple, scalable and efficient as you grow.

From the first prototype to running at scale: the whole lifecycle of your product, under one roof.

Fast, reliable web apps and APIs, built to handle growing traffic.

Small business?

  1. We assess your context and goals, define the scope and help you get the project off the ground.

  2. You don't have to build it alone. We design and build it with you, in small, frequent releases.

  3. We keep your product reliable after launch, with monitoring, maintenance and support.

Braga, Portugal

Hexube was founded in Braga in 2025 by an engineer who has been building software for more than 15 years, most recently systems that have to work at scale: real-time applications, company-wide data platforms and AI agents used by enterprise customers.

Along the way, the same story kept repeating: good products slowed down by systems that grew faster than their foundations. Hexube exists to bring that experience to companies early, before complexity becomes the problem, and to stay with them as they grow.

Building software since long before it became a career, with years leading the systems behind enterprise products, from hands-on engineering to principal-level architecture.

Look at a cube straight down one of its corners and you see a hexagon. The name comes from that: two shapes that turn out to be the same thing seen from different angles, and that together describe how we build.

Bees build in hexagons because it divides space with the least material and no gaps, which makes the honeycomb light and remarkably strong. Every cell has one clear job and connects cleanly to its neighbours. That's how we design systems: robust, efficient and easy to reason about.

The only regular solid that fills space on its own, with no gaps: stable, easy to stack and easy to rely on. That's what we leave behind: foundations your team can keep building on long after launch.
